Corey McSweeney brings experienced, disruptive depth to Morehead State’s defensive line
McSweeney has been a steady rotational DL for Morehead State, with his best documented college production coming in 2012 when he played 11 games, posted 11 tackles, 2.5 sacks and 2 forced fumbles, while also earning Pioneer Football League Honor Roll recognition. His game profile suggests a high-effort, disruptive defender who can create turnovers and pressure the backfield rather than just pile up tackles. That combination of proven splash-play upside, durability across multiple seasons, and academic buy-in makes him a sensible fit for a team valuing reliable, assignment-sound depth on the line.[1][3]
