Ball State RB with Elite High School Pedigree and Explosive YPC
Toney Williams is a Ball State RB from Alpharetta, GA, who brings a high-intensity, data-driven running style with a 4.9 yards-per-carry average in the 2024 season, despite limited attempts (9) due to early-season roster adjustments. His differentiator is his explosive high school pedigree—rushing for 1,945 yards and 26 TDs as a senior—paired with a committed, team-first mentality that made him a Tennessee Volunteers signee before joining Ball State. While his current stats (44 rushing yards, 1 TD) are modest due to limited opportunities, his intensity level and YPC rank him 252nd of 599 RBs, signaling untapped potential. He’s a strong fit for teams needing a high-octane, injury-resilient RB with a proven track record of intensity and big-play capability, especially if given more carries to showcase his elite YPC.
