Poole has been one of The Citadel’s most productive secondary pieces, showing consistent tackling, turnover creation, and special-teams value. In 2023, he posted 43 tackles, two interceptions, one forced fumble, and a blocked kick, building on a 2022 season that included 48 tackles, six pass breakups, and three interceptions; he was also an All-SoCon second-team selection in 2022 and earned early recognition as a 2021 SoCon All-Freshman performer.
