Jason Dawson brings steady backcourt shooting and veteran poise to Gardner-Webb
Jason Dawson has shown he can be a reliable, low-drama guard for Gardner-Webb, with Wofford and Gardner-Webb notes pointing to his three-point shooting, steady decision-making, and fit in winning systems. In the 2011 season, he was giving the Runnin' Bulldogs real backcourt punch, including a 12-point outing in a loss to South Carolina State and stretches where Gardner-Webb credited him as a major contributor in the backcourt. He is a compact, experienced combo guard who helps spacing, can make shots, and brings a coach-friendly, team-first vibe.
