Former NDSU QB with Championship Pedigree and a Pro-Style Arm
McGinnis brings real big-program quarterback DNA: at North Dakota State, he was a 6-3, 212-pound passer who developed in a championship environment and entered college as a decorated Nebraska prep QB. His differentiators are size, poise, and experience in a winning culture; later at Washburn, he flashed production with 2,409 passing yards and 26 touchdowns in the 2015 season, showing he can manage an offense and push the ball vertically. He profiles as a steady, mature fit for a staff that values structure, accuracy, and leadership more than raw flash.
