a dependable NJIT forward who brings efficient finishing and interior presence
Odera Nweke stands out as a low-drama, high-utility forward for NJIT, with a history of efficient scoring, solid rebounding, and activity on the defensive end, including blocks and steals in his Highlanders minutes. In NJIT’s 2014-15 notes, he was described as a player who appeared in every game and logged heavy minutes, which points to reliability and toughness rather than flash. He looks like a fit for teams needing an energetic frontcourt piece who can do the dirty work, stay available, and impact possessions without needing the ball.
