Crystal Kesler brought veteran guard instincts and toughness to Belmont
In the 2011-12 season, Crystal Kesler was a senior guard for Belmont after a career built on steady production, playmaking, and defensive grit; her earlier Belmont seasons included 2.3 points, 1.3 rebounds, and 1.0 assists per game in 2008-09, and she was noted as Belmont’s all-time leading scorer at Knoxville West with 2,160 points. She stands out less as a flashy stat-stuffer and more as a competitor with real two-way guard value, leadership, and resilience—plus a hard-earned toughness shaped by multiple knee surgeries that ended her playing career, which says a lot about her edge and durability mindset.
