Kylen Ross brings veteran safety savvy to Sacramento State
Kylen Ross is a senior safety for Sacramento State in the 2023 roster data, giving the Hornets an experienced, physical back-end defender with size at 6-foot-0 and 178 pounds. The clearest differentiator is veteran reliability: he’s listed as a long-time defensive presence rather than a flashy stat-chaser, which usually points to strong communication, sound positioning, and trust from the staff. If you want a defender who can steady coverage and fit into a disciplined secondary, Ross looks like a credible fit.
