Braden Sullivan is EKU’s do-it-all linebacker with a nose for chaos
In the 2024 season, Braden Sullivan emerged as a major defensive centerpiece for Eastern Kentucky, leading the team with 74 tackles through 10 games and adding 2 tackles for loss, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery[3]. He followed that with a strong 2025 season, playing in 12 games and posting 92 total tackles, 5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, 3 passes broken up, and 2 forced fumbles[2][14]. At 6-foot-2 and 245 pounds, he brings downhill physicality, playmaking instincts, and disruptive energy that coaches love in a linebacker who can finish plays and create turnovers[1][2].
