Southern Miss’s stout, turnover-hunting linebacker with proven production
Brandon Davis brings a proven playmaking résumé to Southern Miss: in the 2025 season, he posted 96 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, five sacks, 10 pass breakups and four forced fumbles, and in 2026 ESPN listed him with 12 solo tackles and a forced fumble through the early season. He’s a 6-foot-1, 200-pound senior from Meridian who looks like a high-motor, instinctive fit for a defense that wants disruption, not just tackles. If you want a linebacker who can chase, blitz and punch at the football, he’s your guy.
