Fitz Wattley brings steady, physical playmaking to Coastal Carolina’s secondary
Fitz Wattley is a reliable **safety** who has shown he can be a tackling anchor and disruptive presence for Coastal Carolina, with career production that includes **86 total tackles**, **2.0 tackles for loss**, **1.0 sack**, and ball production that includes **3 interceptions** and **5 pass breakups**. [1][3] In the 2023 season, he led the team with **68 tackles** and a team-best **48 solo tackles**, which points to both consistency and willingness to finish plays. [8] For a team that needs a disciplined, physical defender who can support the run and still make plays in space, Wattley looks like a strong fit. [1][8]
