Ryker Schow brings glove-first reliability with sneaky pop for BYU
Ryker Schow is a versatile right-handed bat who gives BYU real roster value because he can handle the outfield or infield, has shown steady on-base skills, and pairs that with dependable defense. In 2025, he hit .257 with a .368 on-base percentage and a .982 fielding percentage, and BYU’s 2026 notes say he owns a .247 career average with 48 runs, 31 RBI, 6 homers, and 7 doubles across 89 games. The big differentiator: he’s a high-character, high-academic player with a 3.89 GPA who’s been trusted in meaningful spots and has delivered some eye-catching defensive moments.
