Opanel has been Monmouth’s bullpen stabilizer in 2026
Kevin Opanel, a fifth-year right-handed reliever for Monmouth, has been one of the Hawks’ most reliable arms in the 2026 season, posting a 5-1 record with two saves and earning Second Team All-CAA honors. His value goes beyond the box score: he’s worked multiple innings effectively, repeatedly protected leads, and showed poise in high-leverage spots, including shut-down relief at Towson and key late work in CAA play. If a team wants an experienced, strike-throwing bullpen piece with proven toughness and a winning track record, Opanel fits the bill.
