Cal OL David Hays brings veteran size and guard steadiness
David Hays is listed by Cal as a powerful offensive lineman who emerged from spring practice as a starter at right guard, with the program noting his improved command of the offense and line technique in his college career. His fit is simple: if you want an interior blocker who plays with mass, consistency, and experience rather than flashy highlight clips, he makes sense. The main caveat is that the available public information is older and doesn’t show current-season stat production, which is normal for offensive linemen but means evaluation leans heavily on role, development, and depth-chart value.
