Maryland OL Stephen Grommer brings senior-sized depth and veteran stability to the Terrapins
Stephen Grommer is listed by Maryland in the 2026 season as a 6-foot-4, 309-pound senior offensive lineman from Spartanburg, S.C., giving the Terrapins experienced, physically mature depth in the trenches.[1] He’s the kind of line piece coaches love: big enough to anchor, seasoned enough to understand the details, and valuable even when his work doesn’t show up in flashy stat sheets.[1] If a team wants a steady, developmental OL with college-ready size and a veteran profile, Grommer checks the box.[1]
