Mike Melvin brings veteran Fordham wideout chops, not mystery-man vibes
Mike Melvin was a productive Fordham receiver in 2004, finishing with 24 catches for 372 yards and 3 touchdowns, and he also posted a 64-yard reception on the Rams’ 2004 stat sheet[1][3]. The big differentiator is reliability: he was Fordham’s leading returning receiver entering 2006, a sign of trust and route-running value more than just splash-play volume[1]. The fit question is simple—if you want a steady, experienced target who can help chain together drives and understands the program’s offensive DNA, Melvin checks that box.
