Sophomore INF Matt Park: Data-Driven, Quick-Bat Infielder with MAAC All-Academic Honor
Matt Park, a 5'11", 185-lb sophomore infielder for Quinnipiac, stands out not just for his 2026 stats (13 hits, 9 RBIs, .186 AVG in 24 games) but for his elite quick bat, MAAC All-Academic Team recognition, and intense, data-driven approach to the game. His dual-threat background as a former 3B/RHP (up to 84 mph fastball in high school) adds unique versatility, while his personality—calm, studious, and fiercely competitive—makes him a reliable fit for any team seeking intelligence and intensity. No injury history reported; he’s a high-intensity, low-risk prospect with strong academic discipline and a quick reaction time at the plate.
