Ethan Murdoch brings middle-order pop and proven run production to Marshall
Murdoch is a physically imposing 6-2, 205-pound right-handed outfielder who has shown real power upside and RBI punch for Marshall, including team-leading home run and RBI stretches in 2025 and an early 2026 blast that kept the Herd alive against The Citadel[2][8][9][15]. His background also matters: he arrived with a loud offensive résumé from McCook CC, where he hit .396 with 18 homers and 82 RBIs in 2023, and scouting notes have long pointed to an athletic outfield profile, clean exchange, and gap-to-gap approach[2][13]. He looks like a good fit if a team wants a durable, confident bat with pop and some edge — less “quiet stat line,” more “danger when he connects.”[2][11]
