Versatile USD defensive back with Hawaii roots and tackling chops
Kawika Fiddler’s strongest calling card is versatility: San Diego’s roster and historical game notes show him used in the defensive back / strong safety mix, and the 2003 USD season stats list him with 3 tackles, while local coverage identified him as one of several Hawaii players adding depth to the Toreros’ defense[11][13]. The fit appeal is the same today that it was then—he projects as a tough, adaptable defensive piece for a program that values multi-role DBs, physicality, and special-teams-minded reliability[11].
