Prairie View A&M’s Intense Point Guard with Elite Assist Potential
Daquan Cook, a 6-1 point guard from Baltimore, stands out for his high-intensity playstyle and assist leadership (10.8 PPG, 563rd of 2,567 guards), not just raw scoring. While his field goal percentage (32.5%) reflects a developing shooter, his 77 three-point attempts show ambition and range. Cook’s differentiator is his relentless defensive pressure (6.6 steals/game team stat) and ball-handling under pressure, making him a natural fit for teams needing a tempo-setter. No major injury history reported; his personality is described as driven and competitive. He’s a good fit for teams prioritizing intensity, playmaking, and defensive grit over pure scoring efficiency.
