In the 2026 season, Connor Adams is a 5-foot-11, 184-pound sophomore cornerback for Furman who already showed defensive involvement in 2025 and has been described by the program as a player who can handle corner, safety and special teams duties.[1][2][3] He logged 3 total tackles in the 2025 season and opened 2026 with a tackle in Furman’s season opener, while Furman’s staff says he “will have a chance to play a big role,” a strong sign of trust for a young DB.[1][3][5] His appeal is versatility, early-enrolled development and competitive upside; the downside is that he’s still building a bigger statistical resume.[2][3][4]
