Collin Johnson brings veteran safety savvy and academic-grade discipline to Davidson
In the 2023 season, Davidson listed Collin Johnson as a senior safety at 5-11, 165, with experience in multiple seasons and a résumé built on steady availability, special-teams value, and classroom discipline—he earned Academic All-State in high school and PFL Academic Honor Roll recognition in college. His differentiator is reliability: he’s not a flashy stat-sheet bully, but a compact, assignment-sound defensive back who has shown he can rotate into games, tackle cleanly, and fit a team-first culture. If you want a high-IQ depth piece with mature habits, he’s your kind of guy.
