Veteran Purdue lineman with proven JUCO polish
In the 2017-2018 seasons, Ethan Smart brought Purdue a big, experienced body at 6-foot-6, 310 pounds after arriving from Northeast Mississippi C.C., where he helped block for an offense averaging 366.1 yards per game. He was viewed as a depth piece with real swing-start potential, thanks to his size, junior-college experience, and three-star pedigree. The fit? A physical trench player who can add competition and stability up front, especially if you value mature, ready-made depth over a high-upside project.
