About Woods Updated Aug 31, 2026

Kam Woods brings steady playmaking and gritty, all-around value to USC

In the 2025-26 season, Kam Woods has been a useful two-way guard for USC, averaging 8.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.1 assists while starting most of the back half of the year.[2][15] He’s the kind of connector coaches love: a 6-foot-2 veteran who rebounds well for his size, creates offense without hijacking it, and can pile up steals and assists when he’s engaged.[1][10][14] The fit question is simple — if your team needs a tough, experienced guard who can stabilize the floor and do the dirty work, Woods is your guy; if you want a pure shot-maker, he’s more facilitator than flamethrower.[1][7][12]
