hard-hitting Louisiana Tech DB with a blue-collar edge
Shaun Smith looks like the kind of defensive back coaches love: physical, competitive, and built to bring edge to the secondary. The available public trail on him is thin, so there isn’t enough verified, current stat leader data to make a clean 2026 performance read, but his profile at Louisiana Tech suggests a fit for teams that value toughness, special-teams value, and a downhill mentality over flash. If you want a DB who plays with attitude and can buy into a role, he’s worth a closer look.
