Michael Mayeux brings field-position value to Louisiana as a punter with upside
Michael Mayeux’s value is in *hidden yardage*: as a punter, his job is to flip the field, manage pressure, and give Louisiana’s defense better leverage on special teams. Publicly available, role-specific performance data on Mayeux is limited, so the strongest case for him is positional fit rather than headline stats; he is the kind of player coaches watch for consistency, hang time, placement, and reliability under game-speed conditions. If you need a specialist who can quietly change field position, he is the type to care about.
