Kentucky's 6'11" Dominican Big Man with Pro Pedigree
Eloy Vargas, a 6'11" center/forward who wrapped up his Kentucky Wildcats career in the 2011-12 season (33 GP, 0.8 PTS, 1.7 REB), flashed rim-protecting potential with 3 blocks in a single game vs. Winthrop and contributed to UK's Final Four run. His international journey—spanning D-League draft (2014, #17), Europe, Latin America, and recent stints with Metros de Santiago in Dominican LNB—highlights battle-tested rebounding grit and post versatility. A physical, high-motor vet ideal for teams needing seasoned depth, though modest college stats reflect bench role behind stars.
