San Diego’s RB with a hard-nosed, downhill profile
Marco Contreras is a San Diego Toreros running back whose value appears to come from physicality, reliability, and getting the tough yards rather than flashy volume. Publicly available roster and stat pages do not show a strong standalone statistical profile for him in 2026, so the best read is that he’s a depth-and-discipline type back who can fit a team that wants downhill urgency, ball security, and low-drama competitiveness. If you need a rugged, assignment-sound runner who can handle contact and keep the offense on schedule, he’s the kind of player worth tracking.
