Akron’s senior linebacker Brian Bell brings size, experience, and steady production
Brian Bell is a 6-foot-3, 235-pound senior linebacker for Akron who gives the Zips an experienced, physical presence in the middle of the defense. In 2025, he posted 49 tackles and 1.0 sack, showing dependable run support and enough burst to finish plays behind the line. The big differentiator: he’s a veteran, not a project, with the frame and tackle consistency to fit a defense that wants a tough, assignment-sound LB who can hold up against the run and bring some edge.
