Tyler Kozera brings swing-and-miss arm strength to UNF
Tyler Kozera is a 6-foot-3 right-hander who gives North Florida a power look on the mound, with recent 2026 appearances showing strikeout ability and effective multi-inning relief/starter work. In 2026, he opened against Quinnipiac with 4 strikeouts over 2 scoreless innings, and later logged 3.0 shutout innings with 1 hit allowed and 1 strikeout at Charleston Southern, plus 2.0 clean innings with 2 Ks versus West Georgia. His profile points to a heavy fastball/secondary mix and a pitcher who can miss bats, which makes him appealing if you need upside and length rather than a finesse arm.
