Freshman DB with Elite Intensity and Game-Changing Instincts for Alcorn State
Detrell Wright, a 5'10", 190-lb freshman defensive back for the Alcorn State Braves, stands out not just for his physical compactness but for his relentless intensity and preternatural ball-hawking instincts that often defy typical freshman hesitation. While his career stat snapshot remains early, his differentiator is an aggressive, high-contact personality that turns every coverage into a tackle battle, making him a perfect fit for teams needing a fearless, turnover-prone DB who plays with veteran-level focus. With no reported injury history and a reputation for outworking opponents in practice, Wright’s intensity and adaptability make him a high-upside prospect whose value lies in his mental toughness and game-changing potential rather than raw statistics alone.
