High School MVP with NBA Lineage, Now a Graduate Assistant Bringing Elite Rebounding Knowledge
While current college stats for Juan Ramon Rivas (Kansas City Roos, 2014-15) show limited impact (1.5 PPG, 0.8 REB) due to a season-long injury that caused him to sat out the first half, his true differentiator is his extraordinary pedigree and intensity. As a senior at Olympia High School, he averaged 17 PPG and 9 REB, earning Team MVP and Captain honors, and his father is Juan Ramón Rivas, the Puerto Rican NBA legend who played for the Boston Celtics alongside Larry Bird. Now serving as a Graduate Assistant for Jacksonville University, Ramon brings 15+ years of professional experience in Spain, Argentina, and Mexico, plus Puerto Rican National Team accolades (Americup, World Cup). His intensity, rebounding IQ (top 3 in Peach Belt at North Georgia), and leadership make him an ideal fit for any team seeking a coach with elite basketball DNA and a proven track record of elevating team performance.
