Explosive HS Sack Artist with Limited College Impact
DeShay Mukes burst onto the scene as a disruptive DT, leading his area with 91 tackles and 12 sacks in his 2014 senior HS season at Thea Bowman Academy, earning a spot on the Indiana State Sycamores roster. However, in 2016, he appeared in just five games, logging only three solo tackles with no sacks or standout plays, suggesting adaptation challenges from JUCO (37 tackles over two seasons at College of the Desert). His raw power and motor make him a developmental gem for teams needing interior pressure, but limited recent visibility post-2016 means he's a high-upside, low-risk project fit for depth charts—not an immediate starter.
