Craig Mettler brings senior depth to Montana’s defensive line
Craig Mettler is a senior defensive tackle for Montana, giving the Grizzlies experienced interior depth and a physically valuable presence in the middle of the defense. His biggest differentiator is roster stability: as a veteran lineman, he fits teams that want a mature, low-drama interior defender who can absorb contact, hold gaps, and help set the tone up front. Publicly available roster data does not provide detailed 2025-26 production stats or national rankings, so the clearest takeaway is his value as a seasoned, team-first depth piece rather than a headline-grabbing stat producer.
