Compact Powerhouse Fullback Bringing Grit and Versatility to Austin Peay
Isaac VanMeter, a 5-8, 215-pound freshman fullback for the Austin Peay Governors, stands out with his explosive athleticism from high school days—clocking a 4.69 40-yard dash and benching 230 lbs as a 6'1", 180-lb DE/TE hybrid—translating to bruising blocking and short-yardage intensity on the gridiron. Fueled by a chip-on-shoulder mentality from Van Meter HS's 2020 state title heartbreak, this Henderson, KY native's relentless work ethic and multi-sport pedigree (lacrosse goals, baseball dominance) make him a differentiator in FCS run games; ideal for teams needing a tough, undersized bulldog who elevates the line and never backs down.
