Aubrey Brisendine brings veteran linebacker stability and preseason recognition to SFA
Brisendine is a **reliable, experienced LB** for Stephen F. Austin, earning **second-team preseason All-Conference recognition** in the 2024 SFA football preview and record book, which signals that coaches and media view him as one of the Lumberjacks’ more dependable defensive pieces.[1][2] His value is less about flashy stats and more about **trust, consistency, and lineup stability**—the kind of linebacker fit teams want when they need a physical, assignment-sound defender who can anchor the middle of the defense.[1][2]
