Morehead State LB with Tackling Grit and Turnover Flair
Steven Barongi, a 6-1, 205-lb linebacker for the Morehead State Eagles, stands out with his relentless intensity—peaking in a standout 2019 game vs. Illinois State (6 tackles, 3 solo, forced fumble)—and ball-hawking skills honed from Holy Cross HS championships, Nassau CC, and tying for Morehead State tackle leads early in his career. Reliable sources praise his forced-turnover upside and fresh-start tenacity as a JUCO transfer, making him a high-motor fit for defenses needing sideline-to-sideline pursuit; ideal for teams seeking undervalued FCS producers without injury red flags.
