Third-String QB with Zero Ints, Building Grit in Wyoming’s Rotation
Sam Stratton, a redshirt junior QB for the Wyoming Cowboys, currently sits third on the depth chart after participating in spring quarterback rotations. While his 2014-era stats show a 78.6 passer rating and zero interceptions (238th of 334 QBs), his true differentiator is his flawless ball security and low-risk mentality—no TDs yet, but no costly turnovers either. He’s pursuing communications, known for intense film study and a calm, coachable demeanor under pressure. Though not a statistical leader, his injury-free history and high intensity make him a reliable developmental fit for teams valuing discipline over flash. Care about him for his untapped potential and steady leadership; he’s a good fit for teams building long-term QB culture.
