Courtney Marks brings speed, contact, and elite small-ball value to Western Carolina
Marks was a steady two-way table-setter for Western Carolina in 2025 and 2026, hitting for average, piling up runs, stealing bases, and ranking among the team’s most reliable defenders in center field. Her standout traits are pressure on the bases, disciplined at-bats, and rare sacrifice-bunt value—she posted nine sacrifice bunts in 2025, a top-five single-season mark in program history. That profile makes her a strong fit for teams that want a high-IQ, high-energy outfielder who can spark offense without needing power numbers to impact games.
