Jael Scott brings size, guard skills, and veteran steadiness to Alcorn State
In the 2018-19 season, Jael Scott averaged 4.4 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game for Alcorn State, with a career-best 11-point outing showing he could give the Braves a useful spark off the bench or in the starting role.[1][2][7] At 6-4 and 195 pounds, he stood out as a long guard with defensive upside and enough all-around feel to rebound and facilitate, while Alcorn’s own note described him as a “lockdown defender” with “offensive explosiveness.”[1][3] He also earned a spot on Alcorn’s 2019-20 Commissioner’s Honor Roll, which adds a nice academic-and-character bow on top of the on-court profile.[12]
