In the 2025 season, Koron Hayward emerged as a defensive playmaker for Western Kentucky, finishing with 19 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and an interception, while also earning CUSA Special Teams Player of the Week honors after a blocked kick and four-tackle effort. At 6-foot-5, he brings rare length, edge versatility, and “find-the-ball” instincts that pop in key moments. He was a 2023 CUSA All-Freshman Team linebacker and a three-star recruit, which backs up the upside.
