veteran WSU forward who brings steady rebounding and all-around glue
In her Washington State career, Mariah Cooks built a reputation as a durable, high-IQ forward who showed up in big moments: she played in 127 games, ranks ninth in program history in defensive rebounds (367), and as a senior averaged 6.8 points and 4.3 rebounds while shooting 38.0% from the field. She was also a three-time Pac-12 All-Academic honoree, which tracks with the kind of disciplined, team-first player coaches love. If you need a reliable frontcourt presence who competes, rebounds, and fits a system without needing the spotlight, she’s your kind of player.
