Michael Zant brings steady, every-down safety production for New Mexico State
Michael Zant is a proven, high-minute defensive back for New Mexico State, starting all 12 games and finishing with 28 tackles, which ranked 10th on the team in the cited season[1]. That profile suggests a dependable, assignment-sound safety rather than a flashy stat-stuffer—someone valued for reliability, durability, and consistency in the back end[1]. For a team, he looks like a fit if you want a composed defender who can stay on the field and stabilize coverage, though the available data does not provide deeper metrics on ball production or impact plays[1][8].
