Jayron Harness brings veteran size and game-changing DB instincts to Alcorn State
A 6-foot-3, 192-pound redshirt senior from Madison, Mississippi, Harness profiles as a long, physical defensive back with a veteran edge for Alcorn State in the 2026 season[2][7]. His value goes beyond box-score stuff: he’s the type of DB who can erase space, contest throws at the catch point, and make a timely coverage play when the game tightens up—exactly the kind of steady, experienced defensive fit coaches trust in pressure moments[10].
