Nate Buss brings efficient scoring and savvy veteran polish to Winthrop
In the 2021-22 season, Nate Buss gave Winthrop a punchy veteran look: he made his first start as an Eagle, scored a season-high six points against Carver, and added two assists in that game. His differentiators are efficiency, reliability, and a steady two-way feel rather than flash—he’s the kind of guard who understands spacing, makes simple winning plays, and fits cleanly into a structured rotation. If you want low-drama, high-IQ backcourt depth with a team-first edge, he’s a sensible fit.
