Adam Magpoc brings speed, pressure, and clutch contact to SDSU
Adam Magpoc is a high-energy, versatile middle-infield bat who gives San Diego State a disruptive leadoff-style profile: in 2026 he hit .350 in the Mountain West tournament, stole three bases, and drove in nine runs, while earlier in the season he opened his Aztec career with a 4-for-4 debut and two steals. The key appeal is his speed, contact quality, and veteran edge—he started 97 games at Boston College and finished second there with 29 stolen bases in 2025, so he’s not just fast, he’s experienced and hard to keep off the bases.
