Tyler Gooch’s Tulsa QB profile is a historical footnote, not a current football case
Tyler Gooch is listed in Tulsa football history as a quarterback, but the available records show he left the Golden Hurricane in 2003 to pursue baseball at Oklahoma, so there is no current 2026 Tulsa football performance to evaluate. In the 2003 coverage, he was described as a starter who completed 55% of his passes and had shown enough dual-sport talent to pivot away from football; that’s the real differentiator here, not an active QB résumé. If you’re evaluating fit for a modern team, he isn’t a present-day option.
