Depth-Chart Center with Limited Recent Volume, Size, and Rim-Protection Upside
Assane Diouf is a depth-center for Austin Peay whose value comes more from interior size and matchup flexibility than big-box scoring; in the 2025-26 Austin Peay team stats, he was listed among the frontcourt options, while earlier college numbers show limited but efficient minutes and modest production, including 1.2 points and 1.4 rebounds per game in the 2019-20 season and 0.8 points and 0.8 rebounds in 2021-22. He looks like a fit for teams needing a physical, low-ego big who can absorb contact, defend the paint, and do the dirty work without demanding touches.
