the ultimate glue-guy captain with off-court star power
Kevin Montminy was a Penn State guard whose value came less from box-score fireworks and more from reliability, leadership, and elite academics; in his 2014-15 senior season, he was a three-year walk-on turned scholarship captain, while his Penn State career also included team recognition for scholastic achievement and academic honors. He’s the kind of athlete you want if you need culture-setters, high-IQ practice players, and a respected locker-room presence—not a volume scorer.
