Devin Palmer enters New Mexico as a freshman DT with real take-command traits: in his 2025 senior season at Allen High School, he posted 47 tackles, 6.0 tackles for loss and 3.0 sacks, earning Texas District 6-6A defensive line MVP and second-team all-state honors. At 6-foot-1 and 255 pounds, he looks like a compact, energetic interior defender who already showed production, effort and finishing ability against strong Texas competition.
